CEO’s Statement

2024 has been a year that clearly differed from the one before it. After 2023, when we grew both in volume and geography, we entered a year marked by uncertainty, economic downturn, and a hesitant market. For the entire industry, the pace has slowed, decision-making has become more drawn out, and the future harder to predict.

But even in a more stagnant market, we chose to move forward. We continued our geographical expansion with new establishments in Örebro and Östergötland, while at the same time refining and strengthening what we already do well. We have invested in our methods, deepened our climate focus, and developed our culture – all with the aim of creating long-term value for our clients and partners.

At times, it may have seemed as if little was happening, but behind the scenes we have been moving. We have sharpened our climate tools, increased reuse in our projects, and ensured that CO₂ is becoming as natural a part of decision-making as finance and work environment. Our ambition to become one of Sweden’s most CO₂-efficient construction companies is not just words on paper – it is part of how we lead, build, and collaborate every day.

At the same time, we continue to drive progress through what has always been our greatest strength – our people. In a rapidly changing industry, it is the competence, dedication, and culture of our employees that provide stability. Their drive to improve, to learn, and to challenge old ways of working is what moves our business forward, regardless of the economic climate.

It is easy to think that growth should always be visible in the numbers. But for us, sustainable growth is about more than that. Over the past year, we have built strength that may not immediately show in financial statements or headlines – but which makes us more resilient, more relevant, and more prepared for the next step.

Financially, we remain stable. Our order book is strong, our client relationships are long-term, and our projects are characterized by close collaboration, high trust, and shared responsibility. We know that results are not only created in calculations, but in the daily cooperation on the construction site – with our clients, suppliers, and with each other.

As we now summarize 2024, we do so with both reflection and confidence in the future. It has been a more restrained year, but also an important one. We have not stood still – we have continued to build. And we move into 2025 with a stronger organization, a stable economy, and an even clearer direction.
