Great Place To Work 2018

RO-Gruppen named one of Sweden's Best Workplaces... again!

3At a huge gala at Cirkus in Stockholm, we were once again named as one of Sweden’s Best Workplaces, in 2018.

– When we first received the award last year, we saw it as confirmation that we’re doing things right. Receiving the award again this year inspires us to continue our targeted efforts,” says Andreas Jaldevik, President and CEO of RO-Gruppen.

It’s no coincidence that RO-Gruppen once again features on the list – back in 2012 the decision was made to commence joint efforts on the company’s corporate culture and core values, involving all employees. Although according to Andreas, it all started even earlier.
– At least ten years ago we set ourselves the goal of creating a workplace that attracts competent and committed people. A workplace where people want to work. The foundation of all this is a transparent and inspiring corporate culture and a set of core values that are shared by everyone.

A culture based on well-being

We’ve been working under the motto “Challenge:Accepted” both internally and externally for several years now. The purpose has been to shape a corporate culture where we are challenged and evolve as people, where we trust one another, and where individuals’ capacity is fully utilised.
– Building a strong corporate culture is something we’re always working on. I was especially happy when I saw that 95 percent of those who responded to the survey said that they’re proud to tell others where they work, says Maria Sigfridson, HR Manager of RO-Gruppen.

Quality award for employers

This nationwide survey was carried out by Great Place to Work, a company that operates in 50 countries worldwide. The survey, which is the world’s largest quality award for employers, consists of two perspectives – the employee’s and employer’s. The company’s organisation and management are assessed, as well as its achievement of its organisational targets. The way the company motivates its employees is also looked at, with an emphasis on trust, pride, and camaraderie.
